In flight meals AA flight

We leave next Saturday at 14:00 and have a nine hour flight to Charlotte, anyone know what meals we ll get and when?
Not sure whether to plan to have a big lunch at Heathrow or not

I flew to Miami last weekend from LHR with AA and the meal was cottage pie type thing and creamy mushroom pasta. Food was about 1.5hrs into flight

We flew out AA a couple of weeks ago, food was good I thought, lots of it and a bit better than the Virgin return flight food.

We had BBQ chicken and veg which was good, others in our party had a pasta dish (don't think it was mushroom though as above) reports were that it was ok. lots of other bits and pieces, I don't think you will need to eat before the flight. As above the food was started not long into the flight.
