Yes, I was wondering what the reason is for this itinerary change. Our cruise from Miami was supposed to call at Key West, Castaway Cay & Nassau.
Now it’s 2x Castaway Cay & Nassau.

I’m very happy with the change, if we actually get to sail (I have a 14 year old, so it’s hanging in the balance). I’m just not sure why 2 x Castaway Cay is better than a stop in Florida when you’re sailing from Florida anyway. Is it to do with crowds? Mixing with the general public?

So Key West I know tried to implement a ban on large cruise ships (over 1000 passengers so this would include the Disney ships). Now I'm not sure it has been fully implemented but this might have lead to this decision. Also with the rates in florida being higher maybe they think its safer.

Not sure what the one dose policy will mean for DCL policy but I’ve read that that DCL give kids 5 weeks grace after turning 12 to get their vaccine so my son who turns 12 2-3 weeks prior to sailing should be ok (for now!).
