Crystal palace-Lunch

This is another one of our repeat adr's, no matter how many times there is a conversation instigated by me "Crystal Palace again... really?" we always end up back here some how. Today it was for lunch, and boy were we glad for a break from the heat, the free lemon water for people waiting to be paged for their ADR was a nice and welcome touch.

Having learned my lesson from the whole 'mash and salad and gravy' fiasco at Chef Mickey's, I very wisely went straight in for the mash and the chicken and veg. Honestly it was delicious, and I had a second plate identical to this it was so nice, the best meal I have had here in a long while. I waited patiently at the buffet as they replenished the mash and then the person directly behind me then also had to wait patiently as they replenished the mash.

Other platefuls of food... not mine... I stuck with the mash today.

I know what you're thinking as you look at these plates...'where is their mash?'. My dh and children declared that there was in fact no mash left and gave me a very accusatory look.

Hoop De Doo

Love, love, love this show and just being over at the stunning Fort Wilderness Campground. It was a toss up between this and Mickey's BBQ (which we also love) but Hoop De Doo won out as we hadn't done it in a while. Today rather than go home after our day in M.K, change clothes and drive over, we took the ferry boat over straight from Magic Kingdom and you pretty much dock up right next to where the show is at Pioneer hall. I think this is how we'll do this in future as it worked out really well.

Strawberry Shortcake, delicious but the serving of which I'm sure gets smaller each time we come.

Thanks for reading, I don't know how they look so clear, I am pleased with the ones I took on my phone though I must say. I get a bit embarrassed taking pictures of the buffets sometimes but I'm shameless now with the rest lol. I even got the guy on the carvery at Tusker to give me a smile!
