Smoking ban from May in Disney parks.

A heads up for the smokers out there. It will be banned inside the Disney parks from May 1st. There will be smoking areas OUTSIDE the parks. Disney Springs and Resort hotels will still have smoking areas.

This is excellent news. I wonder if DLP will follow suit?

I'm a non smoker but I think this is totally unfair on those who do..ridiculous really that smokers will have to leave the parks completely to have a smoke.

Great news. There are a few park areas that aren't particularly pleasant to walk by, so I'm pleased about this

I’m a non smoker but I think it’s wrong. You have to go out of your way to get to the smoking areas so just leave them be. Will the ban include those dreadful e cigarettes that have some dreadful smell. I would rather smell a normal cigarette than those.

Never been bothered by smoking in Florida but DLP is another matter

They dont seem to be able to control smoking there to just the smoking areas do they. And it certainly isnt just the Europeans... seen plenty of British smoking anywhere. They certainly seem to take the “when in Rome “ atitude !

e

Which areas would they be ?
It struck me that with as few as three smoking areas per park and all tucked away it would take a dedicated smoker effort to find them ... let alone a dedicated non smoker !

Smokers will just find quiet corners to smoke , if anything it will cause more problems than designated areas. Not a smart move ! I don't see any reason for even the most fanatical non smoker to be pleased. Currently it's easy to completely avoid smoke , in the future it'll be harder.

I think it's a bad decision. At least with designated areas smokers have somewhere to go, surely this will increase the amount of people trying to vape or smoke somewhere they shouldn't.
