Ah thanks Gryff.
We've been offered a different villa at the Retreat which only has adjacent neighbours as opposed to adjacent and backed onto directly and diagonally, if that makes sense! It looks lovely and I really like the look of the communal facilities at The Retreat. Following a horrendous AOA experience with Tui, I am a very tricky customer!

We stayed in Watersong this year and loved it yes it’s maybe a 10 min drive from championsgate and a bit further out but the roads weren’t that busy. There is a Publix about 2 mins away that’s just opened so very handy. We loved the area and booked to go back as soon as we were home.

And of course we are very biased and love Watersong and get many repeat guests and fab reviews.
From our front door to the parking at Magic Kingdom, furthest point, it is 18 miles. Roughly 20 minutes so it’s really not as far out as some think. Traffic of course can slow that down but that’s mainly at certain times of the day on the I4 and you will come across that to get to many villa locations. There are other roads you can take to avoid this. Everyone is different and it depends on what you are after. Watersong is definitely peaceful and not as built up like some communities. Most homes have no rear neighbours and lots of conservation space. That’s what we love. That extra 5-10 minute drive to somewhere that’s peaceful when not in the parks is a win for us and our guests. Have a great holiday OP wherever you stay. |

Stayed on Orange Cosmos Boulevard on Watersong, this November just gone for 3 weeks, about an extra 10 minutes journey time each way, but nice gated community and very quiet and peaceful and Villa was fab.

Another vote for watersong, beautiful villas and lovely quiet location. The extra mins in the car were not noticeable, it’s the only villa area we would stay in if staying in Orlando.

Stayed in a villa on Watersong in 2017. Nice, quiet, peaceful and yes a bit of wildlife as we once had to stop the car and watch a junior alligator cross the road in front of us as it sought shelter under a neighbour’s car. Checking under our car each time we went out was added to the checklist

We are very biased but WaterSong is a lovely community, the majority of the homes back on to either conservation land or lakes/retention ponds and very few overlook another villa at the rear. What we particularly like is the feeling that you have left all the noise and hubbub of Disney behind and can enjoy the peace and quiet after a busy day out.

I wasn’t a fan of Watersong. The villa we stayed in was nice and it was a quiet community however it was just too far out for us (mainly doing Disney).
Particularly hard with little ones because we couldn’t just ‘pop back’ for a swim or nap, once we were out we were out all day. Was at least 30 mins drive each way (but usually more) and definitely longer at weekends. The longest was coming back from Disney on an evening took us an about hour and 40 due to traffic I personally wouldn’t stay there again.
