Heathrow lounges with Amex gold

Just wondering if those that have travelled recently have had any issues getting into the lounges using their passes.

We’re flying from terminal 5 and want to use the Aspire lounge.

I don’t think we can book to use these passes, or at least we couldn’t pre covid.

I looked on the Heathrow website and no lounges are showing available for any date in T5, I thought they’d all have reopened by now.

Anybody know what to expect?

What dates are you looking at as both Aspire and Plaza Premium Lounges are open according to the Heathrow Airport website?

I guess somethings been updated as I can now see them on the Heathrow site, been checking for a week and it just kept saying no options for every date I checked even selecting just 1 person.

If that’s the lounge that’s immediately below the BA one (at the south end of the terminal) then pretty sure it was open when I was there before Xmas.

Can’t really comment on what to expect other than in the BA ones during most of last year you ordered food and drink using QR code and they brought to you, although last time I went they had started to revert to help yourself (which is shame!)
