Just a quick observation on the comment above that MoMA is close to one end of the High Line. Depends on your idea of close I suppose, but it’s about 2 miles walk from MoMA to the northern end of the High Line (whether you join it at 34th St or 30th St).

Oh right thanks, yeah I wouldn’t fancy walking 2 miles before joining the highline, I’m trying to avoid using the trains but guess I may have to.

Don't know if they still do it but MoMA used to do free entry on a Friday evening - was busy, but definitely worth it. Get there early as there does tend to be quite a queue before opening (which I think was 5pm)

Just a note for the highline walk. At the end if you happen to look at the standard hotel…
Lots of people use this hotel for - let’s just say entertaining
We walked by early evening last month and a number of windows had very adult things going on in them. Talking to one of the caretakers of the walk, they told us this is a regular thing plus people hang around there just waiting for what ever show might be on!
There is signs in all The Standard hotel rooms telling all guest that they can be prosecuted if caught doing adult things in the windows ….

We are visiting at the end of November and planning to go, is it still a nice walk when it’s freezing?🤣
