Avon Skin So Soft

Hi Dibbers.

Quick question is Avons Skin So Soft as good as people say for stopping bug bites ?

I normally use jungle formula in Mexico but as it stinks I wanted to see if Skin So Soft is as good as some make out ?

I used it during my 2018 and 2019 trips and didn't get bitten at all. I also used lemon source shower gel. Apparently bugs hate citrus. I've got both for this year's trip.

It stops midges in Scotland and there aren't many products that can say that!

I found it useless and was very badly bitten when I used it in Barbados.
Now I’ll only use OFF, either the Family version or Deep Woods depending on weather/time of day or where we are.

I'm just back from Turkey staying in a resort next to a river. I used it every evening, although I'm sure the bottle is over 5 years old. I got bitten a few times, but it was possibly in the day time and the bites are quite small whereas normally my bites are large ones.
