Looking to stay night before we fly where is the best place to park car so we can return to it in the morning to dump our overnight stuff. Looking to stay at BLOC in south terminal.

We are flying next year from south terminal and wanted to park onsite (not valet as hubby doesnt want someone driving our car) and found rates expensive (£300!). Following research we have booked premier inn northside (£45 and recommend as so close to terminal entrance) and short stay parking (£147) so car closeby. Then just take 2mins monotrain to south. Perhaps an option for you.

Wow some people seem to have gotten great deals with short stay at Gatwick, we fly in Aug and i've been looking everywhere for any deal (for over 6 months) but short stay consistently comes in at over £300 for 2 weeks - love to know how you guys do it..! :-)

Played around with rates and both north and south short stay carparks are £300+ for two weeks for various dates to April18, however in May18 north side reduces to £147 but south remains the higher price! Not sure what is happening but book now if dates suit.
