My pleasure Emma
It's a shame about TC not going from LGW - they have really good prices.. £350 isn't too bad. We're flying in the night before the cruise, the 18th.

I was really hoping to get Thomas Cook for about £250 each but happy with Virgin if I can get for £350. Didn't really want to go until the 16th but will settle for the 15th if that's all I can get in the sale - being impatient and just want them booked. We are going to spend a couple of days at Universal before the cruise, but if we go on the 15th then may get one day at Hollywood Studios as it should be the Star Wars weekend and my DS would love that. Thanks again.

Thanks for this info - have had a look and they are only showing the Icelandair ones and for around the same price as I can get through skyscanner. Their indirect as well which I'm not keen on, think I will book the Virgin ones over the weekend. Thanks for your help.

Can you not get upto Glasgow.. there is a flight on the 16th for £262...I would of loved to be able to go out a few days before, but holidays are tight as we're doing the WBTA too later on.
I know if SWW's are on we will be going straight to HS

If the flights are out for 15th May on Monday then you will need less miles than usual because the reward sale finishes then so be ready to book if you can

As I understand it, if I buy miles the are added straight on to my account and then I should be able to book - is this right? If so I will check that they are available for the 15th on Monday (last day of rewards sale) and buy the miles I need and get booked.

we didn't get any refund - something about costs outweighing refund amount (£30 v £25 I think?)

Try phoning flying club, they are really helpful and look at different routes etc too and different cabins to get the best out of the miles you have.
I will be looking at spending ours next year. |
