I have done the ME a couple of time to GF and each time it has stopped at other resorts but not many and never many people on board. They dont let you wait too long or wait for it to get full before they send you off. I am sure that depends on the time on day you arrive.
Thank you. I read somewhere that they don't allow you to use car seats on board so I assume it's ok to sit them on your lap

From WDW.
Airport Transportation and Check In – Frequently Asked Questions
Q.
Are car seats permitted on Disney’s Magical Express motorcoaches?
A.
No. Car seats are not permitted in the passenger cabin and must be stowed in the storage compartment underneath the motorcoach.

Children can sit on an adult's lap or occupy their own seat.

Very much like most coach transport.

The Magic express operation is bigger than you imagine. I thought it would be a bus outside the terminal somewhere. Its infact what appeared to be a whole terminal dedicated to these buses and when we went August 15 there were 5 or 6 outside . When you check in to the desk they tell you which bus you are on. One bus does not serve all resorts.

DS was 18 months and was just on the lap, as it standard for all bus transport. Its quite an efficient process.

Forgot to mention dont forget to book the ME. It is of course included but people dont realize that you have to book a space in it!

Thanks for the info! This is my first baby and I don't usually use public transport (always drive wherever I am) hence my questions
