Accommodation Recommendation - AMI

Hi.

I am looking to book accommodation on Anna Maria Island and was wondering if anyone on here had anywhere they have stayed they would recommend? I am looking preferably for an on beach villa or condo but willing to stay somewhere just a street or two away if it's the right place for us.

No experience of AMI ... but whenever I have looked at the "Beyond the Parks" section, AMI seems often talked about, so may also be worth having a look in there?

We found a little condo on AMI through Tripadvisor that was cheap and cheerful but comfy with everything we needed and one street from the beach.

Not sure of size needed , we stayed in #4093616 from HomeAway and managed by RentSiestaKey last November . Across the street from Publix and a 10 min walk from the beach with cafe , public toilets and showers . Would certainly rent the condo again .

We are going back to AMI in a couple of weeks, but not actually staying at the same place this time as it was already booked up for our dates! Hopefully where we have booked this year will be just as good - I'll let you know when we return!

In 2016 we stayed

and in May this year at

Both were great. It was absolutely wonderful to be right on the beach in the first one during the day but I didn't like sitting outside in the evening - bugs etc.

Even though the second property was a 3/4 minute walk to the beach, it was great to have our own garden, heated pool and much more privacy. Plan to return there next year.

We love the Sunrise Garden Resort, excellent reviews on TripAdvisor and does short stay too
