Are Seaworld & Busch Gardens Quick Queue passes worth it?

We will be visiting both parks mid August, would we need the passes? I have read Busch Gardens isn't as busy anymore.
However 9 year old is about 133cm at the mo, need to stretch him by August as he may not be big enough for the big rides at SeaWorld & Busch gardens anyhow, so may have to wait a bit!
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

I personally wouldn't prepay.

We were at both parks on the run up to Christmas, arriving early, I think we were at BG around Dec 20th and the longest queue I recall was 25 minutes for CH, most other rides were no more than 10 minutes. Around the same time at SW the kids rode Mako 8 times without getting off and even on Christmas Eve, at SW, the wait time was approx 15 minutes.

I'm not sure how much difference the price is for prepaying but I'd probably wait until the day and decide then.

We went to Busch in August last year, arrived at opening and following a "ride plan" (https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho...ght=busch+plan) done all the big rides by 1pm which then gave us time to do a few other things before leaving c3/4pm

We used the "ride plan" which was brilliant except that the cable cars were not working that day, did all major rides by 1.30pm (we went in late Sept). We purchased Quick Queue for SeaWorld unfortunately for us Atlantis went tech so did the penguin ride, to be honest it wasn't really necessary for us. Happy planning

Couple of things - we did not pay for QQs. The Skyride does not open until 10.30/11? however the two days we went the sign was not removed by the allotted opening time; we ignored it and went up to find it up and running - no queue!

We were in Busch last week and it was busier than I have ever seen it before! they seem to be doing a lot of big group discounts so it was infested with super loud South American cheer groups. This meant that a lot of lines were around the 60 min mark CC was near 2 hours at times. We found most of this was down to really bad loading though as most coasters were leaving with lots of empty seats. We have been AP holders to Busch for a while now and it seems to be in decline unfortunately :-(
