Mobile 14 day Virgin Tickets

This may be a stupid question, but we have booked a 14 night package with Virgin. Included in this are 14 day ultimate Disney tickets.
Does this mean will not be able to use them on one day?
FYI on MDE it shows the valid to date as our departure date.
Thanks

14 nights is 15 days. You get 14 days entry on the tickets. Most people are too tired to go to the parks on the first evenings. As by the time you get to the hotel is it gone midnight back home so you will be shattered.

If you did want to go for the evening you need to take 1 day break not entering the parks if you want to use the ticket on departure day.

Hi,

Just to clarify on this - 14 day ultimate tickets mean entry on 14 different days, not necessarily consecutive days?

I'm in the same situation as the OP (as I'm sure are a lot of people!) in that we arrive mid-afternoon on a Saturday so would like to ideally have a couple of hours in MK that evening, but we do not fly out until late evening on the Saturday (2 weeks later), so effectively the 15th day. Providing we have at least one day not attending a Disney park, are we good to use on the 15th day we are there?

Thanks. Does adding a FastPass effectively activate the ticket for that date?

I ask as we have some days we will be going to Universal but not sure yet which ones, so my plan was to reserve FastPasses for all 15 days and then release them nearer the time once we have determined which days we won't be visiting on.

No. Tickets only activate when you go into the park. But you cannot hold more than 14 days of FP+ as the system will know you have 14 day tickets. So it won't let you book 15 days.

Edited at 05:15 PM.

Thanks. (Hopefully) last question...

I know 2 of the days I'm definitely not going to be in the Disney parks (the 2nd Tuesday & Wednesday), so sounds like my best approach is to book 13 of my FPs on day 60 and 1 on day 59 (for the last/15th day), as I can only book 14 calendar days ahead of the 60 days?

If you are on site for 14 nights that is 15 days. You should be able to book for all your days including day 15 providing you don't book FP+ for the first 14 days. So with a days break you should be able to book them all at once.

Normally people don't go to the park on the arrival night anyway as you tend to get to the hotel late and with the time difference all you want to do is sleep.

Thanks for the confirmation.

We arrive mid-afternoon, so were planning on having a couple of hours in one of the parks on the first night just to get the lay of the land.

We've definitely got 2 days not in the parks, so have the "spare" day to "waste" on only a couple of hours use.
