Got to admit I didn’t realise that’s he room had to accommodate 4 so depends whether original posters children would share a sofa bed in regards to the amoma deal as I just based on 2a (I’ve used them & never had any issues)
Would booking 2 connection rooms in a hotel be an option (based on 1a and 1c per room for booking?) don’t know if this would be an option/ cheaper but might solve bed/ separate space issue edited as guess with paying 2 x resorts fees it probably wouldn’t be an option Edited at 06:51 PM. |

I haven’t stopped there .. tbh the city Center hotels so Vdara /Aria etc aren’t my cup of tea . I thjnk they stick out like a sore thumb .
Plenty love them but for me if I’m stopping on the strip I like the big themed hotels . The location isn’t bad though not far from the central and south areas of the strip . |

Was all set for the Aria a few years ago but kids messed about too long and we missed out. Went back to the Mirage instead. Having gone into the City Centre to have a look around I wasn't impressed. It all felt souless, sterile and not well laid out. But location wise it's ok. Obviously that's just my personal views but I wouldn't stay in any of the City Centre properties even at a good price.

Stayed at Mirage a few times and love it. Had a couple of nights at Aria and it was lovely. Vdara totally different vibe much smaller, no casino can't compare the two. Shame you thought it souless and sterile as it wasn't like that at all.Which bit gave you that impression? The shops at Crystals? I think it's ultra modern and chic so I guess it's how you view it and we all like different things. I would probably stay most anywhere on the strip from Venetian down if I was looking for a bargain though! Much prefer the Aria campus as its now called for the location to Mirage actually as we do areas of the strip and if you are in the middle it's a better base for us. Price always comes into for us and Aria cost us a lot more than Mirage.

We stayed at the Vdara a few years ago. We've also stayed at the Venetian, Signature and Mandalay Bay. To be honest, the Vdara was my least favourite.
The location is superb, and the hotel is beautiful. We had a huge suite with a kitchen bigger and better equipped than mine is at home, two bathrooms, living area (turned into two separate beds at night), separate bedroom etc. I can't remember the exact price but it was pretty cheap (which is why I booked it). The pool was rubbish. The reason I didn't like it - and I suspect this won't bother everyone - is that I just felt like I was in a really nice, super swanky hotel that could have been anywhere in the world (not necessarily Vegas). I would stay again for the right price but I'd not make it my first choice, to be honest.

Think you are right Karen. Its not your typical Vegas casino.Think if I was going for that, I wouldnt choose Vdara. Agree about superb location and the pool. With Tweety she is staying at Palazzo first so will get the "Vegas" bit there, and is just looking for another reasonable alternative. Think she saw a good deal on Homeaway and was asking about it after seeing that. Dont even know if she is still considering it as its just the studio and she has her 2 kids with her.
I loved the Vdara bathroom best. Of those you mention...loved the room at MB but its just too far south for me. We all have different things we want lol. Edited at 10:28 PM. |

Oh, I agree! For a terrific price (and poor prices elsewhere) I would stay again. Our Vdara stay was the same trip as Venetian and MBay, all were a similar price IIRC. I loved MBay but not sure I'd want to be so far south for a long stay - we'd had five nights at Venetian and a couple at Vdara already, so we used MBay more to relax at the pool

Hi Jo and Karen
I’m assuming by staying in the Palazzo I can use the Venetian pools aswell. How sad is this I actually watched a YouTube video of a walk through of the pools... it was very interesting the cabanas look lovely but not for the price
