Buying alcoholic drinks at Disney Pool bars

If you buy drinks from a pool bar, do you need to tip per drink, per round or after you're done?

Can you pay on magic bands for drinks? I just don't want to be carrying to much cash down to the pool with me in my swimsuit. And if that's the case, how does tipping work?

How much tip do you guys normally leave? Help would be appreciated!

You can pay on the bands. They'll give you a receipt and you write how much you want to tip on there and the full amount will be charged to your band.

The Magic Band also tells them whether you are over 21 or not.

That's really clever! Saves me carrying ID at the pool too! Thanks for that info

I usually pay cash at pool bars, and tip $1 per drink.

Hold on. Does that mean you don't have to carry your passport everywhere on property if you want a drink? Last time I always had it on me, if the magic band is enough pls let me know.

In over 22 years of going to Disney I have never carried my passport around with me, DL yes, but not my passport and I have never been asked to produce it either.

Mind. Blown!
Were you asked for your DL when ordering drinks though?
