September weather/humidity
Can anyone help with what's the weather like in September, particularly the humidity levels ? Is this better in mid to late September ? Thanks in advance. Might be able to get a quick week in.

Very hot and humid in September. Can also be wet but that's variable. We've had a trip where it rained most of it and others where we've only had a couple of storms. I don't think the time of month makes a huge difference.

We tried September for the first time last year, we were there for the last two weeks of the month, I didn't feel the humidity was an issue After three trips with the lottery of November weather I enjoyed knowing every day was going to be hot.
The rain is more of a concern to me, which is why we chose the second part of the month, hoping it might be dryer. It still rained most days, ideally I'd go in October. |

We love September. Found the humidity fine and the rain which occurred only occasionally very welcome and it cleared quickly. Also found queueing in the parks very good with our longest wait an hour for Kali River Rapids. We are going slightly later this year so we can go to HHN and the Food and Wine Festival☺.

Thank you all for help and advice, looks like later in September may be the best choice.

We prefer September. Nice and warm. A few down pours but they haven't spoiled our holiday. Queue times are OK. It's now our favourite time to visit.

Watching this thread as we just returned and would like to go back next year but my daughter has her GCSE so could do with trying September/October. Would like t fly out around 20-25 sept reading the above it looks like that may be the best option.

We love going end of September and stay through "Fall" when they class the weather as cooler.
It really isn't (not to me anyway) Mornings are a very nice start but temps still reach 30+ |
