Virgin Atlantic Flight Sale

Hi all

I have seen that a VA sale is currently on until 22nd September and are hoping to book. Do VA flights become available from the date of your outbound flight or the date of your inbound flight? I can never remember! I am hoping it is outbound as that will work out really well for us.

If not, and we miss the sale by days, does anyone know when the next VA sale tends to be?

Each flight gets released 11 months from the day of the flight. You’ll have to wait until 11 months from your inbound flight.

Booooo I hoped this wouldn't be the case. Fingers crossed another sale happens at some point as we will miss this one!

I don’t really believe in sales. I’ve found the best prices are just luck during non sale times and the “sales” normally just drop the price from a really silly price to a mildly silly price. I would just keep looking continuously and book when you see a price you are happy with.

What is a silly price for a flight to Orlando nowadays?
I’ve used a company to book Florida holidays with last two trips, thought I’d look to plan out the next one now, and the prices look astronomical. I don’t think I paid that last time, for May this year!
We paid for a week in Disney Coronado springs with DDP for 6 adults 1 child and 2 under 3s then 9 days doubletree Seaworld. With virgin flights... £14k.
Now I’m looking for rough idea on flight prices, and it’s £3-5k for roughly same time for 2 adults and 1 child and 1 infant... just flights... seems crazy to me!
