Ah - you know the joy of type one then! F now has the Freestyle Libre so will see how that goes. Am planning the waterpark for its last day (Tuesday) so if it comes off it isn't too bad.

This sounds wonderful! We have just had my Dads cousin over from Canada (Muskoka) and she told us we are welcome to go over anytime. Your plan looks idyllic

It's a lovely country and I must say that the Canadians that I have met are just so friendly. Looking forward to seeing your pics and your trip report. Hope the weather stays good for you. Think it's my favourite country too... just not so much in the winter

When we have visited in winter it has been cold!

Living in a place where summers can easily be 35C+ it is a relief if it is cooler!

Last February we had two days of -40°, one of which was close to -50° with the wind chill so that was defo a no snowmobiling day but when you have all the right clothing & helmets (& heated handlebars on your sled) its truly wonderful especially when you get a 'blueberry day" when the sky is a blue as can be n the sun shines & the snow glitters like diamonds - roll on February

Can't imagine it that cold. Think we have had about -20 and it was cold... but lovely. Where you off to in February?

We have had a few like that - we find wearing a bandage (one of those roll ones) seems to help! Have you though about cutting down a neoprene wrist support? We have bought three with us for a 24 day holiday - just put a fresh one on this morning as the old one ran out yesterday!
