Virgin Atlantic Upper Class
So after years of saving our air miles, me and my husband are off to Orlando in Upper Class in June, seats 6 A & K. Very very excited! Would love to hear your experiences of UC?

You are so lucky to be able to go UC. Your seats are right at the front of the cabin and really quite close together. Believe me, once you've done it, you'll never want to go back to any other cabin. The staff are brilliant and know your names and will deliver a glass of champagne when you are seated and explain everything to you. Meals are superb and if you don't fancy a large meal there is a great Graze menu to choose from (have a look at the Virgin website). Just be careful not to drink too much 'cos it can easily be done. Another plus is the Club lounge (if you're travelling from Gatwick). Totally free, plenty to eat or drink and some things such as manicure, massage etc (some free and others you have to pay for. A quiet place to relax before the flight. We have flown out UC a couple of times and would even forgo a year if we could save up to go UC the following year. Hopefully we'll be going UC next year so saving like mad to do it. I know some people prefer to go every year but I'm quite happy to go every couple of years and then really do it in style.

We alaways go out PE but fly back 3 times a year in UC. Brilliant!

No! My Granddaughters flight has cost me £1200 as she has to fly in the same cabin as us going out. Thank God she is coming home with her Mother - in Economy!

They should just be part of your luggage allowance

My heart really does go out to families. However they soon fly the nest and you end up as 2 old farts doing as you wish!
But, I would wind the clock back in a heartbeat! Thats why we are 'pinching' the Granddaughter for 1 week before her Mother flies out for another week and takes her home. Oh yes I'm paying for both!

We flew Upper Class last year going over, it was absolutely wonderful... I can totally recommend it. Unfortunately they did not have the option to fly home, but I want to be awake to experience luxury like that... you will have a fabulous time.
I so hope it wont be our last experience in Upper Class. xxx
