You’re right there and that’s why we’re in Cornwall on holiday and the numbers are through the roof and it’s so mobbed we can’t even book a take away slot!

We paid our October balance with BA last week, feel pretty safe about doing so. Also considering a backup booking to the Bahamas that doesn’t need paid until 3 weeks before.
You just never know though, we’re still in August. |

A part of me is wanting my flights to be cancelled for Oct. £3k for two (premium economy one way).
The dates I want in May are 1500! |

Well I’m guessing that’s us out as I’ve just read on sky news that aer lingus aren’t starting their Manchester flights until 1st December. I haven’t heard from Trailfinders yet but I’m hoping that will be a full refund including the deposit for Disney. I thought I’d be ok but actually really gutted as I don’t know when we’ll get back again.

We are effected by the Aer Lingus cancelled flights too... I was trying to stay positive but I think deep down I didn't really expect to get there in October. I was pretty gutted yesterday and ruined my pre holiday diet with a pizza and but if cake!
But I guess now I have a little more leeway on losing weight since we have been cancelled... Ugh! I may still hang out in the positive planning for a while longer as, if borders do open, we may try and book another flight!

Who's going to start the Positive October 2022 Planning thread? I'm expecting my cancellation email today. I really do hope something is announced soon that allows us back Stateside sooner rather than later, but for me, the ship has sailed

well there is a little bit of positive news today in that Canada are allowing fully vaccinated in from 7th September and Children of vaccinated are allowed.
You still have to test all over the place. I know that a little bit like wanting to come to Britain, but you can only get to Ireland... but it's something. |
