Watching the exchange rate bob along, and not knowing when to buy, finally took the plunge and purchased $ from J Lewis @ 1.2496. One more tick in plan

I've got a revolut card and changed some this morning - got 1.26.59 so happy with that seeing as it's gone down since!

I got �500 worth earlier. Used Sainsbury's as it was only a few pence more than John Lewis and I would use more in diesel getting them from JL.

How many dollars would you take for a family of 4. first week on site with DDP and second week in a villa. We already have a Halifax clarity card at the ready and $500 cash. But wanting to change more.

Why not put it on your clarity card? That'll get you the best rate at the time and it's doubtful to change massively either way between now and your holiday.

We put $500 on our Revolut card the other day as well. When the rate is anything over $1.25 I think it's good now and put some on! I think we all yearn for the 2008 days again when it was about $2 to the �. Ah well, it is what it is.
