Main Street DJ Confusion
It seems that this week the Disney hierarchy hired a DJ to perform a set on Main Street as the crowds were leaving. I’ve watched the video on social media and in no way does it fit in with Main Streets 1900s theming. Anyway, he had set up last night but never appeared, cancelled at the last minute for some reason. What are the execs doing or thinking? Have they lost their way?

I saw a clip of it on twitter and it was absolutely awful. That is not what MK is about. I really hope they have seen sense and pulled it.

I think WDW has lost its way. DJs on main street do not fit!
They build rides with capacity that won't satisfy demand so they up-charge. Are they a two week holiday destination with theme parks or just a theme park with hotels for short visits? Do they just want mega rich people to visit, the middle class or everyone? Do they want just adults because families with kids are being priced out? I don't really know what WDW is anymore. That's more offensive to me than all the lost benefits
I really hope it was some kind of one-off prize and not something they actually paid for. They should know by now by all the DJ dance parties they try to put on that there is ZERO interest in them. And on Main Street? Hell no. |

Just seen this on Facebook, oh dear, not what I’d expect to see at MK at all.
Disney Springs maybe but certainly not if he’s shouting comments at those passing 😬 |

Yuck. I remember when the Main Street barbershop quartet would come out and serenade guests - it was great and fit in with the theme. I guess those days are truly gone.

I reckon Bob Chapek is in his office coming up with various ideas trying to see how much he can get away with before he "breaks" us.
"Next I think we should replace all the animals in Animal Kingdom with cardboard cut outs. Let's see how they like that!".
