Mobile Alcohol drink on QSDP

Not done Disney dining for many years so need to get up to speed.

Been reading about the drinks with your QS meal.
Do we have to have these the same time or can we build them up kind of thing?

Do all QS places do alcohol now as last time we did Disney i believe all parks didn't. Although didn't take much notice tbh.

Also i read u can exchange your drink for a dessert?

You can't build them up and go back later, you order and collect them with your meal.

Most QS places do offer alcohol, except the Magic Kingdom where the only one I can think of is BOG except obviously at dinner where it is table service.

You can only exchange your drink for a snack/dessert in resorts where you’d be using your resort mug for a drink anyway.

When I had lunch or dinner at the hotel (POFQ) I would grab one of the Jose Cuervo Margaritas (in a bottle) as my drink. I bought them back with me in the end. Used the mug for my drink for dinner.
There was also bottles of wine and a few beers.

what i did a few times (where available) if we didn't want/need a drink at the time was got a sealed beer/wine or margarita and saved them for later. I have ended up bringing back a few margaritas

the bellini in BOG is good

Apart from Magic Kingdom, most places do beer or wine and some do cocktails which you can get but if in a park it will be a poured or open drink so you can't really save for later. In resorts you can grab a bottle of drink for later or a bottled beer. They had wine, beer, mudslides and margaritas at Coronado Springs last week. I agree with other poster the bellini in Be Our Guest is lovely.

You can do it at all the resorts except cbr. Their tills aren’t set up for it.
