LV Car hire
We are going to Las Vegas in November and will be going to Disneyland for a few days as well so had looked at hiring a car just for a few days of our trip to get to and from Disney and then probably the next day as well to cover shopping trip off strip.
Was wondering if people would recommend just hiring a car for the whole time or is it better to just use uber/bus/taxi to get to/from, airport, outlets around the strip etc and just have the car for the travelling to Disney |

I would always have a car in Vegas,. I hate public transport with a passion ,and a car makes life so much easier..We can come and go as we please.
But it depends what you want to do, I do pretty much all my shopping off strip and I also eat a lot off strip as its so much cheaper, couldn't do that without a car. Other people never leave the strip so a car isn't really needed. The airport is pretty much on the strip anyway, We always get our car from the offsite airport car hire place (Its a short shuttle ride from the airport) you get a much better selection of cars from there. I wouldn't have thought that it would cost much more to have the car for a week , do bare in mind though that some Vegas hotels (the MGM group) now charge for car parking even if your a guest. |

Like DB I would never not have a car in Vegas even when we have on,y been there for a weekend, sure sometimes it spends a few days in a car park but I know I have freedom to do whatever I want.
Driving is easy in Vegas try to avoid the strip though as it takes ages use Koval and industrial which run parallel |
