Using the toaster at Bayliner Diner

Hi I am just wondering if there is a toaster to use at Bayliner Diner in Cabana Bay - for example if i went there with my own bread would i be able to use it or is it only for people that have purchased food in the food court?

thanks

There is one at each of the drinks stations in the bayline diner. But as above we just got one from Walmart and it was $8.99 plus tax.
We had a family suite so there was plastic plates provided. However next time I’m going to take some of the ikea kids plastic ones so I can wash them and reuse.

Beware the smoke/heat detector, we set them off with a toaster. The hotel management were furious as it was a pre-determined call out. Two fire appliances turned up, they threatened to charge us (the hotel people) but the firefighters took pity on us and said it was an easy mistake to make and we were given a stern warning

Oh no! Never even thought of that. Good job they didn't charge you.

Is it ok to use the ones at Bayline diner without purchasing food there?

We never did but nothing to stop you using it. There is about four drinks stations which are all in the seating area.
Cutlery is at the end of tills, but there isn’t any plates or butter etc freely available. So you would need to bring your own and then take back to the room. Our room was at the end of continental and was a good 5-10 min walk.

Can't you buy bread in the diner and then use their butter and jam. With the cost of a loaf out there and having to buy butter and jam , plus it'd be cold by the time you got back to the room it's a lot of faff and won't save you much.

Better still pack cereal !

No one would know op, the toaster isn’t next to the cashier. You could buy a refill mug for coffee, fill that and use toaster at same time.
