Not sure on the miles for us but one year in August it took us 11 hours! More than Florida!

Usually takes us about 6 hours in comparison!

When we have been to Cornwall in the past it was always in our touring caravan. We would stop off somewhere and have a rest or visit somewhere on the way.
We may stop off in a this time. I need to check if Stonehenge is kind of on the way from the North West.

Yes it was when they were doing the works on the A30. I remember on the way home it took about 6 hours to get to Bristol and another 5 to get home from there! Left early doors last time and it was so much better but then you have to wait around to get into your accommodation which is a pain when you’ve had a long journey!

We stay in Cornwall for a week every summer as a family. Hoping that it's nice and settled and the virus is pretty much gone by mid Aug (fingers crossed! ) we're staying in Rock, but always do day trips to St Ives as it's my favourite place - so beautiful. Avoided it last year as it would have been too busy so cannot wait to go again!

Carbis bay is a great compromise, given its location on the way out (or in) to St Ives. You get the best of both worlds.

Must have been looking at your house last weekend as we walked the length of the Towans from Gwithian Carpark right across towards you. We saw the Ore Cart sticking out of the sand cliff for the first time!
