Big thumbs up for customer service at IoA
Excellent customer service today at Islands of Adventure.
We had booked our tickets etc through Virgin and collected them at Universal Studios the other day, they let us through with no problems. When we came to use them at IoA today, we were stopped as Virgin had issued children's tickets for my two teenagers. We were told that we would have to pay and upgrade the tickets (which was going to come in quite expensive). Guest Relations checked the voucher and confirmed that it was a problem on the part of Virgin. After standing there for nearly 40 minutes the assistant came back and said that they'd upgrade them for free as it wasn't our fault and they'd also throw in Express Passes for both parks as we'd had to wait so long. They really didn't have to do this as it wasn't their fault at all. The Express Passes really made our day as we just walked onto most rides. I'm so impressed by the customer service (and not at all impressed by the customer service offered by Virgin). |

We lost our camera whilst in IOA and telephoned the next day more in desperation than anything else but it had been handed in and was waiting for us at the customer service desk.
The organisation and discipline involved in running such big operations is quite something. |

A big thumbs up to Islands of Adventure its nice to hear some positive feedback especially when they could have quite easily have blamed Virgin and charged you the extra well done Universal and enjoy the rest of your holiday

Nice to hear something positive after negative things I normally read about their customer service. Sounds like they have taken a leaf out of the Disney book

It's good to hear a positive comment on ioa as usually they receive negative comments on their customer service. A good experience like this makes you want to return on your next visit and can make your day special on you holiday.
