32 years of waiting and 8 years of saving, now my dream holiday is 10 days away. Does anyone remember the old Disney videos? They said ‘keep watching after the main feature for a glimpse into the magic’? I would sit and watch those Disney adverts for hours dreaming of one day going. As a child my family went on holidays to grandparents’ houses on the south coast, Florida was way beyond our means! But when my son was born in March 2010 I started saving £50 a month and now our family of 5 are off on the holiday of a lifetime! We still can’t afford a Disney hotel and have to fly with Thomas Cook instead of virgin but we have 14 days in 9 parks & we can’t wait!
It was supposed to be five of us but after my nephew was diagnosed with Aspergers, and having never been abroad, we stretched ourselves to include him.
So off we go on 15th May from Manchester! Look out Disney here we come 😁

You will have a ball, make sure to take the time to just sit and watch the world go by from time to time. Its the small details that make all the difference.

For your nephew there is a lanyard you can pick up at the airports to help staff understand he may not want to be in crowds or asked lots of questions and at the parks you can get a card to help not have him stand in the queues.

Have a truly magical holiday. After 32 years it will be amazing.
