Is MNSSHP worth it?

Hi all

We're going to be there in October. We'd decided definitely not to do MNSSHP, but I did some overtime last week and will earn enough from that for 4 tickets. I was going to pay off some of the vast credit card bill for the holiday, but now I'm wavering.

We can just about afford it, is it worth it?

Cheers in advance.

My opinion is no. I love Halloween & liked being able to dress up (not too many adults did). We did it in 2014 and whilst it was enjoyable, I wouldn't do it again. I don't think it's worth it. The park is trimmed up and looks great whether you do the party or not.

I haven't done it for a long time, probably 10-11 years so my opinion is based on that! Ultimately I don't think it's worth it with the exchange rate the way it is I don't think it is worth the cost, I feel Disney should offer a discount if you have an existing ticket such as the ultimate tickets... If you didn't have a ticket already and you could get in from 4 then I'd say it would offer good value particularly compared with a 1 day magic Kingdom Base ticket.. Until they offer a discount (I imagine never) I wouldn't go again.

I went last year for the first time and absolutely loved it, my 5 year old is still talking about it. On saying that, it was the only Disney we did last year.
