2018 into 2019
Hi all. We go to Orlando 28th December to 11th January. 2Adults 2 teens. We are probably going to buy a Disney/ universal combo. ( though debating 14 day entry with magic your way 4 or 6 days). My question might sound obvious but as we 'land' in 2018 but go into 2019, I'm guessing I can buy 2018 tickets but would need to activate both before 1st Jan to start the 14 days? Is my thinking right? ( so we need to visit both disney & universal parks in first couple of days). Please help.. thank you.

Hi,
I believe that’s right, we had the same question, we go 22/12, I asked Orlando Attraction Tickets and they got back really quickly to say as long as they were activated in 2018 they would be fine (this was for Disney tickets though), be really interested to hear if universal is the same...hope so🙂... |

I think as long as you activate them by the 31st December 2018 you will be ok, but phone to double check.

As said by the others above, I believe that if you want to activate the tickets (i.e. actually use them to enter a park) by, or before, 31st December 2018 then you should get 2018 tickets. That's certainly true of Disney tickets - you can continue to use these until 14th January 2019 as long as you use them on 31st Dec 2018. I think the same is true for Universal, although I'd have to check that.
