To be fair that really depends on where you intend to eat and shop and appetite . Publix is dearer than Walmart and aldi cheaper . Best advice take a look at restaurant menus and do a rough calculation of what you are likely to eat . Kids meals fir your 11 yr old or adult etc ?
Dixonsontour did a fabulous food report which you could read for ideas etc and an idea of budget.

Groceries are overall more expensive than here in UK I find. As a comparison, in 2017, for 2 adults, one 13yr old and one 6yr old we spent the following for 3 weeks:
Supermarkets (incl some household stuff like detergent): $ 950, Restaurants: $600, snacks when out and about and in prka: $200. Edited at 06:48 PM. |

When we stayed offsite we budgeted $180 per day for food for 2 adults, 1 child (6)
It was way too much, we mainly ate in the parks and did 3 character meals plus another 2 sit downs. We ate breakfast in our villa, had a couple of snacks, lunch and dinner out most days. I separated our daily food budget in to cash in envelopes and transferred any overage, by day 5 we were had a surplus of $400! The easiest way to budget is too look at menus where you think you’d like to eat and work it out from that.

Hi Biggwigg, just wanted to add that you really can eat out cheap and expensive.
We do both and budget around £100 per day (Couple) and this is normally ok if you include really cheap places like cicis pizza, wawa subs etc in combination with more expensive places like Longhorns, disney restaurants etc.
