There are coach pick up points to Busch Gardens from Universal and it is complimentary...you just need to book on via the telephone number provided. We were picked up from International Drive at around 8am and the return in August was about 7pm so back around 9.30pm

There's a free Mears bus (if you have got a park ticket already) that will pick up from Universal bus parking. You can book it online.

I think we are going to skip Disney next year and just do universal. Thinking 10 or 11 nights splitting it 5 nights Portofino Bay and then the rest at the new endless summer resort.
If we then really want to visit Disney I’m tempted by the after hours event at MK (an eye watering $500 for 4 hours) but it would be really quiet and worth it for a Disney fix without buying £1700 worth of tickets.

I’ve never been to Bush Gardens b4 so I’m glad I’ve found out this info 👍

We do 7 or 10 nights just Universal no problem. You will have plenty to do. We find it makes for a relaxed holiday you can have mornings in parks then afternoons in Cabana pool. Cabana pool has kids entertainment and a DJ in afternoons. There is also bowling at the resort, it's cheaper in the afternoons. You can buy refill mugs for length of stay. At citywalk there are 2 mini golf courses and a cinema. You can walk to volcano bay from Cabana bay so can easily visit there.
We do MNSSHP gets you in from 4pm until Midnight and is cheaper than a 1 day MK ticket.
Disney springs could be worth a visit too.
Blue man group at citywalk is different and my daughter liked it when she was 8, there are usually deals around for it.

Link to my last trip report when we did 9 nights at Universal.

This one we stayed at Cabana bay for a week

One of the ticket companies are selling Icon, Tussauds and Sealife tickets for £16 all 3 attractions, can't remember which company, I have bought them.

We did this in August and had a blast !
Really enjoyed no planning and Taking it easy, afternoons by the pool.
Seaworld fireworks are epic and are equally as good as Disney IMO (hard hat on).
You will have a ball.

In fact I am kinda regretting getting Disney tickets for our next trip !

Aquatica sea world water park is ace.
We go to the poly to watch the fireworks and broadwalk to watch fireworks.

Both free without a ticket.

As well as MNSSHP look at the evening events at WDW, much cheaper than a day ticket and will give you an evening in a Disney park If you did 1 or 2 of those, it'd break up your Universal days and give you a change.

Enjoy, we've often gone for a week with no Disney tickets and that was before Volcano Bay opened, we were never bored!
