I know you always do the summer holidays so I live in hope that we can find some good prices. We got a good deal through Dublin last year in May, it was fab to clear customs before MCO. I like the idea of Amsterdam for perhaps less flights but maybe connecting in US before MCO is better so NY might be a good idea. I’m going to look at BA, KLM, Delta, Aer Lingus, Air France-is there any others you usually check?

I check Skyscanner and google flights so it checks everything. I also check from Edinburgh / Manchester and Glasgow.
This year we are with Delta. Last time was with BA. Both were very cheap. I’d love to do Aer Lingus as I think that would be the easiest option but I’ve never got a decent price. |

Hopefully we'll get flights from Teesside Airport again to Gatwick. That would probably help a lot of people. We can but hope...

I would of thought via Amsterdam with KLM would be about the quickest and least hassle , if you get in at the 11 month mark when flights are released you might get a reasonable price ,I don't know if KLM have a sale.

Our first holiday to USA was from Teeside but I think we went through Heathrow. We were unexpectedly upgraded to Business on the way home and my hubby was gutted he couldn’t really have any of the lovely alcohol as he had to drive us home! It would be great if the NE had a Gatwick flight.

That would be fab if Teesside did a Gatwick route or even reinstate the old Heathrow flight! My brother just flew KLM - Teesside to Mco via Amsterdam. The layovers were a bit much for me to consider though.
