Question BA Miami flights and cancellations

We're booked on a return BA flight to Miami next month. Can't see it happening and so I'm trying to find out if the flights will be cancelled as I know some flights are still continuing to fly to Miami. Our flight numbers are:

Outbound - BA1528 (I think this one is still flying?)
Inbound - BA0208 - how can I find out if this one is still flying?

Just need to know so that I can decide whether to take the refund, voucher or rebook.

They’re both still flying.

We were in the same position last month, tried changing to get a refund to no avail.

Luckily another dibber told me about a workaround and we then got a full refund.

We took a voucher then used the full voucher to book onto mco flights that were about to be cancelled. Once they were cancelled I selected the refund option through manage my booking, the refund came through to my original payment method a few days later.

On a similar post further down I put my experience as we was due to go 16th Oct but they’d changed us from 1525 to 1528 so I went on live chat and they refunded us the deposit that were still waiting for.

Thanks for the replies. Glen - we were (are) due to go on the 16th too! We were originally supposed to go in March 2020 and just keep moving it. We got such a good price for these October dates and it’s a fly drive, I’ve heard that some people have been able to move the dates and just pay the extra for the car hire. That would be our ideal situation as we’re stuck with school holidays. I’ve just checked and I have the email stating that the BA1525 has been cancelled and changed to BA1528. Would this be enough for me to ask them to move the booking to next year?

Yes as it’s a completely different flight, I was told they might not refund as the flight times was the same but I got through online chat after 2 hours and the guy instantly cancelled the flight and said he issued a refund!

We were booked on flights to Miami on 25 Sept return 12th Oct. We took the voucher as the flight out was still operating.
I think as BA don't cancel these flights they aren't obliged to refund or even offer a voucher from others have said. The voucher seemed a fair deal to me. It's valid until sept 2023 so plenty of time to think about going in the future.
Some have said that you could try waiting until 2 weeks before departure and see if BA will cancel for you not ideal if like us you have to commit payments for other things.
I hope you get it sorted

We are flying on the 25th through BA but they changed it to AA and the flight is still going so we can only take a voucher . We were meant to be going on a cruise which is still sailing then up to Orlando flying back with BA on the 11th October , I don’t get it we can’t get in to America so why not refund us

Hmmm interesting. I was just waiting on ours being cancelled and didn’t consider they would still run. We are due to fly back from mco but not until the 6th of November. Argh, I’m not sure what to do now.
