Dibb has taken our WDW to another level
Hi, our 2nd WDW holiday is coming to an end and I am glad to say we have all had a wonderful, amazing, special and magical time... we knew this would be the case as this place is something else. We have been looking forward to this holiday since booking it back in DEC16 and it has not disappointed. However the purpose of my thread is to give a huge shout out to DIBB! What a site! Thanks to my work colleague for the tip and I have not gone a day since without checking out the site / new threads. A number of hints/tips have made our holiday that extra special so I just wanted to call a few of them out.
1. OLC/STC Alamo - the bypass trick to get STC worked for me but as others have said the OLCI is sufficient. Very easy car selection and exit. Shame no Ford Explorer! 2. 1 night stay at RPR for FOLP was 'the business'. We have never experienced hotels in Orlando before so this was a nice experience but having the FOLP was the real adv here. Went on all the HP rides multiple times through both days and hardly had to wait more than a few mins. 3. Highland Reserve - never stayed here before so was unsure but no need to be worried as cannot recommend this area enough. Nice location and berry town on doorstep. Mia pizza was ace. 4. FOP Rope Drop - no FP so did it rope drop. We were so early that we were told parking was not open so we're waved through without paying (felt embarrassed how early we were but 20min later I was glad we were). Ended up a little lost as no staff to direct so parked in staff car park lol 1st in bag check and queue but when opened ppl were running (irratated me how some ppl behaved) so we're about 20 rows back (two kids) when got to ride but still hardly no wait and off ride by 9.04am. It was 120m wait by then. Ride was great. 5. Park busy day guide - used to plan for all days and it actually worked as parks were mangeable. There are plenty of other tips I took for this site (cirque du s, cooling towels, ice pack, cooler bag rucksack etc) so I could go on and on... Anyways just wanted to end by saying a BIG THANK you to each and everyone that has helped make this site what it is. I'm not sure when we will return but know the day we do we will certainly be using the site to help us plan our next magical trip. |
