Menorca Hotels

I landed back from the Maldives yesterday and naturally, like a good dibber, I’m already holiday planning…

My friend and I are planning a quick weekend away (3 nights) next month and fancy Menorca as we’ve both not been before. I’ve found good flights already, but does anyone have any hotel recommendations for us? I’d like something in a beach town (5/10 min walk to beach) with nice restaurants and somewhere to have cocktails of an evening.

We’d get a taxi from the airport so should be a smooth transfer, but ideally somewhere no longer than 30 mins away would be good as it’s just a short trip.

I like Cala D’Or in Majorca by way of comparison as to the type of area.

The Valentin Star in Cala'n Bosch is a really nice hotel, it's a while since we have been but I can say we had a lovely time there, it was adults only back then but I have seen a review mentioning children so maybe they have changed their policy, take a look at the reviews to judge for yourself
