I used to get a big present each year, things like Silver Cross dolls pram & doll, personal stereo, Tiny Tears dolls etc. One year both me and my twin sister got a huge Sindy house each. We kept these in the living room (a recess on either side of the room provided the perfect space). The only thing my Dad hadn’t considered was that when our Sindy’s drove to each other’s houses, we had to keep crawling past my poor Dads armchair, so he was constantly moving his head around unable to watch the football in peace! Sorry Dad!
