Universal annual photo pass

Hi
Has anyone bought an annual Universal photo pass which is currently on sale at $79 and not been an annual Universal pass holder?
I purchased last night and although there is nothing to state you have to be an annual pass holder on the sale ticket it does state it on the non sale ticket

I queried this when I bought mine in the Black Friday sale and they said that they are different tickets so an annual pass isn't needed. I think they could have worded it differently on their site, but don't think they have invested much money into it anyway, it's awful.

Thank you for confirming details. I also thought the website was very poor and had to even check it was legit

I bought one last year and no issues - even for a two week holiday it’s a great price and we got loads of brilliant photos including volcano bay as can be linked to your tapu band! There’s a great shot you can take in front of the volcano x

The Annual one is no longer on offer.
We don't go until August, so hopefully it will be on offer again before we go.
