Have you decided on what trips etc. you are doing yet? My DH wants to go to the Hoover Dam, probably won't do the Grand Canyon as I've already done it and DH not that bothered. I fancy doing the helicopter over the strip at night and also having a limo for an hour in the day to see the strip. I also fancy doing the balloon flight type thing - smilar to the one at DTD I think. Other than that lot's of shopping and a bit of gambling. Still can't make my mind up where I want to stay. I think will have to see nearer the time what deals are around. Keep me posted with your planning.
Hotels.com have good rates for the big hotels in Vegas, was checking them out earlier when i was in dream land again :pop:

Hi Emma

I am booking the Grand Celebration trip with Papillon for the Grand Canyon, and a trip to Hoover Dam, I also am booking Ka show tickets and buying a gift card for the Stratosphere Top of the World restaraunt, as part of his suprise the rest we will have to pay when we are there!

That sounds brilliant - he will be chuffed to bits.

I did the Grand Canyon when I went about 15 years ago so not on my list to do this time. My DH wants to do the Hoover Dam so will probably book that before we go. I am also thinking about doing the Strat Top of the World Restauarnt. I want to do the helicopter at night over the strip and also hire a limo for an hour to the strip in the day. I would really like to see Jersey Boys or The Lion King, I think I have more chance of convincing DH to see Jersey Boys! My list just keeps getting longer by the day though. Happy planning.

Please just be careful with hotels.com.

They normally have a 3rd/4th person charge (if that applies to your party) which -normally- makes them far more expensive than booking direct with the casino/hotel?

The helicopter trip down the strip at night is great... but it's over in the blink of an eye
I would do it again though if finances allowed

Thanks Diamonddog. I did have a look but to be honest its still too far off to get any good deals. I will probably look at FatWallet nearer the time and see what deals are around and book direct with the hotel.

Thanks purple myra. I know its not that long, I think they say you're up in the air for about 12 minutes, but i'm sure it'll be a great experience. We had one booked when we went to New York last but it snowed soooo bad that we couldn't do it, so I'm determined to do it in Vegas.
