How busy is Disney etc in July / August

Just wondering if it is better to visit Disney/Universal etc at the end of July/beginning of August or later in August.

Thanks

Martha

It seems that the US kids go back to school around the middle of August so i would imagine the parks would be quieter towards the end of august.

Hi Martha,

Sean is right- most of the schools in southern CA start up in mid to late August, so while it will still be busy it's not as bad as the crowds in July.
