Always factor 50 here with UVA 5 stars and water resistant- We all go white to red easily- I like either the boots own brand 12 hr ( but reapply regularly- thick but works) I also just picked up a cooling spray one from Asda- which looks good and easy to apply and was a good price-

We take ultrasun sports gel which keeps my prickly heat under control and OH finds easy to rub in to his hairy skin. Neither of us have burnt when we’ve used this.

Ultrasun factor 50 for everyday use and P20 factor 50 for swimming/waterpark days as it's got much better waterproof properties than Ultrasun, but we find it too greasy for daily use, plus it leaves yellow marks if it's not dried properly. No yellow marks with Ultrasun

Ultrasun Family specifically for those who suffer prickly heat - we use F30 rather than F50 as it tends to clog skin and make prickly heat worse.

P20 factor 30 or 50 - yes it does turn clothes yellow if you don't allow it to fully dry first but you only have to apply it once, it lasts all day and you don't get so much as a tan line with it on
