Rides we can do with a 21 month old
We are going to Disney next year for the first time with our then 21 month old. Although we are more than happy just to wonder round, see some shows and meet characters etc, I wondered what rides she will be allowed on? She is currently 14 months and approx 80cm so she is tall!
Thanks in advance. |

The simple answer is that she will be allowed on any ride that doesn't have a height restriction.
For a list of rides with a height restriction (i.e. the rides she cannot go on), see the following page: Ride Height Restrictions Also, the following "Rides for Any Age" page might help. It highlights in bold the rides that anyone can go on: Rides For Any Age Unfortunately the above page hasn't been updated in about 5 years and so is a little out of date. But it is a good starting point. As you can see there are a lot she will be able to go on, especially at Magic Kingdom.

That’s a great start thanks! What about toy story midway mania and the new frozen ride?

As there is no height restriction for either of these, then she is allowed to go on both of them.
However, Toy Story Midway Mania does spin and jerk around quite a bit - you might need to keep a good hold of her during the ride. The Frozen ride is mostly a gentle boat ride and so should be fine. There is a bit where it goes backwards and a small drop. It's the same ride as Maelstrom (which is listed on the Rides For Any Age page) just with added Anna&Elsa theming.

We've not long been back with our 14 month old. We only did the Disney parks and she did every ride that didn't have a height restriction including POTC, Haunted Mansion, Astro Orbiter, Frozen, Midway Mania etc.
As Nimbus mentions, just keep a tight grip on TSM as it does spin and stop sharply. |

As has been said just check out he height restrictions. We first took our DS at 18 months and it was an amazing experience.
TSM was one of his faves, loved the spinning round between games and shooting. Non stop baby giggles for the whole ride. You’ll create some amazing memories. Enjoy. |
