first trip for my 9 year old Daughter

Help...

We are planning on taking a trip to Florida and this will be my daughters first visit and i am having trouble working out a plan for her, as i don't want to overdo it but there are so many things i would like her to see and do

We are going for 14 days and staying on resort, the only day we will probably venture out is to go to Universal.

Do any of you have any suggestions please

Many thanks

Gem

It really all depends on how 'tough' your DD is - does she have a lot of stamina? Is used to doing lots of walking? Late nights or early mornings better for her? Does she cope well with being tired?
This will provide the answers to how you plan your days.
My DD has been to Orlando aged 8 and then 9 - we go full on out every day, all day. Couple of days at Universal, DC and SW, Boggy Creek. She is exhausted but copes well.
A long as we get enough sleep - that is the key.

We`ve taken the grandsons at ages 4 and 7, 7 and 10, then 10 and 13. The last 2 trips they`ve been the ones with the chair and the whip, making us do more and stay out longer than we planned!
Whenever we say about a rest day or peaceful morning by the pool they agree, but after an hour or 2 they`re the ones saying come on, lets go do something exciting!
I think it depends on how she`s going to deal with the heat and the crowds etc. Ours thrive on it but not all kids do. Maybe make a plan but be prepared to be flexible, and go at her pace

I'd say just do what feels right for you. Take as many breaks as you need and don't feel pressured to do everything. You could try watching some Disney vlogs with her of each park to see what her top things in each of the parks are and prioritise those and then anything else is a little bonus.

You can take your own dresses so you could always do that? They'll still do her hair and make up for her. There's a package that's everything but the dress.
