At what age do kids stop coming?
My kids are 18 and 17 and I really want to go next year for my 50 th,I’ve asked them both if they want to come and there like yeah if you want but there not that bothered .Im getting obsessed with going but should I bother ? Spending 5k plus when the kids aren’t really bothered should I just save the money, wish they were still little! Been 4 times so they have been spoilt really. Husbands not that bothered either but he’s just tight with money ha ha

That depends on the kids I think. Mine would definitely still want to come and be excited about it. They are 16 and 22.

Our DD came with us from the age of 9 to 16. She then didn’t come with us while she was in College and Uni. She came last year at the age of 21 again
The years she didn’t come with us she was happy not to come |

I think it will depend on each child, those that love all things Disney will want to go forever. There are those who just dont want to be structured or so tired on holiday so they wont want to go.
Go without them as it will be cheaper for you

Maybe go somewhere more.imteresting and just incorporating theme parks like Disney as part of the trip.
Would a West Coast trip be of more interest? |

We went in 2011, 2012, 2015 and on the last trip the eldest, who was 20, was really not bothered about going, and actively said she would come but would rather we spent the money going somewhere else as she ‘had done Florida’. Fast forward 5 years of university, having to get a job (not particularly well paid) and living away from home and she is chomping at the bit to come with us again
Sometimes I think they need a break, and the harsh reality of having to actually pay for things from their own money, to appreciate how lucky they were as children.

My kids are 31, 29 and 16 and still come with their families now, planning a big extended family holiday for my 60th in 4 years :-)

Agree it depends on the kids, we went in 2018 - kids aged 25 and 29 and more than happy to come along. DD very excited and full swing in planning.
