Another "villa has been sold ?"
In Florida at the moment and just picked up my emails.
The villa I have booked for summer has been sold. The lady I booked with has said the new owners will honour our booking! I'm have not yet replied as I need to ask all the right questions and don't want to leave anything to chance... For the booking to cross over to the new owner, what questions should I ask to make sure my booking is valid and secure? Any advice would be great! Thank you |

Would be asking for new contracts and new owner making contact with me. If you know the address then check who owns it now etc and if that matches with who you have been told.
Have you paid deposits and those have been passed over etc. Is the security deposit the same? Or if you feel really uneasy about it I suspect you could ask for your cash back. |

Definitely I would request to talk to the new owner and see if you have a good comfort level. Many times owners will sell their homes with bookings in place and the new owner usually honors the contract. The new owner may be glad to have some bookings as it takes months to build a new business so this could be a plus. They may even make some positive changes.
