Looking for some advice on golf in Orlando
My daughter and her boyfriend are going to be joining us for a week this year, they are both very keen on golf, they are going to be going to the Ryder Cup in Paris first then flying to New York to stay there for a few days before finally flying down to Orlando. Due to all these flights they don't really want to be bringing their own clubs with them, my daughter will be fine but her boyfriend is 6ft 4in and needs longer clubs than standard. What they need to know is, has anyone on here had experience in hiring clubs in Orlando and where can you recommend they for for a game/round whatever it's called? We are staying at Windward Cay.
Thanks. |

Only ever played at the Disney courses and always hired clubs, not the cheapest but excellent.
There are quite a few golfers on here who I’m sure will give plenty of good recommendations re courses & club hire.

They could try Southern Dunes which does rent clubs but being only 5' and a little bit never had to consider longer clubs. There is also the option of having a drink or meal in the club house afterwards.

Celebration Golf Club rent Ping g400 clubs at a reasonable price.
They also do deals which include lunch. I can't recall if they do extra length clubs. |

Hi all good advice so far , southern dines very good, also get them to look at champions gate, Orange County . Our favourite is grand cypress and a little bit special. Let them know this is where a lot of the lady pros practice.Amy yang one of the notables. One other possibility would be bay hill where the pros play each year but they would have to have a nights stay to play there, fantastic and they would recognise it all
