Hi,
2 adults 1 teen & an 11 year old staying in Hard Rock Hotel for 7 nights end Oct, beginning Nov 17.
Is there anywhere to eat at a reasonable price within walking distance - Is International Drive a reasonable walk? I don't mind the odd meal onsite/City Walk, but would like to branch out a bit.

The nearest place I can think of is TGI on Kirkman Road next to the Holiday Inn. A bit further up there is a Golden Corral and Miller's Ale house. Would take 15 mins or so to walk

Shuttle buses run from the US bus drop off area out to the hotels on Major Boulevard if you didn't want to walk.

International drive is around a 25 min walk from the drop off area at the bottom of the escalators before you get the the parking garages. So would be longer from Hard Rock and probably another 5 min walk down international drive before you hit any half decent restaurants, Chillis and TGI Fridays.

Other option would be to walk to international drive and hop on the I trolley to Pointe Orlando where there are loads of restaurants to choose from, outback, Longhorns, olive garden, bahama breeze for starters and too many more to list!

We have also got taxis from the rank at the bottom of the escalators in city walk to Pointe, it was around $15 one way including tip. I am sure that an uber would be even cheaper than that too.

Uber cost us $7 from Sapphire Falls at Universal to Bahama Breeze on I Drive! Bargain!
