Wow... how confusing, they should know the answer...
Think I will head to the desk at MCO regardless of what they tell us now...

I agree I am going to head to the desk at the airport. I did also make the point of making sure all the advisors know the correct information to give out as it is very misleading. She said she will pass on my comments.

Wow. Three different answers.

It comes to something when people on a message board like this one probably know more about Virgin's processes than people actually working for Virgin do.

I emailed the Florida rep asking about having the gift card sent to the resort. They responded saying they only do this if you arrive late and a rep won’t be at the airport. So looks like it’s srill collect at the airport then.

Just received the below as part of an email from Virgin... looks like the card can be collected at the desk at the airport or at the pit stop in the car garage [which may be quieter?]...

Your magical Walt Disney World holiday is fast approaching.

Please remember to collect your Disney Spending Money Gift card from the Virgin Holidays desk located on A Side Level 1 next to carousel 8A or at the Virgin Holidays Pit Stop at Orlando airport upon your arrival.

Finally don't forget to start booking in your Disney FastPass+ selections before you arrive in the below link. This will allow you to skip the queues at some of the most popular of Walt Disney World's incredible rides and attractions. Don’t be stuck in a queue when you could get stuck into a fantastic ride.

But at least you pick it up at a place where you are actually going to be. Those of us who book direct with Disney have to trawl over to Disney Springs to pick it up, not a place I would go to by choice. I'm a fussy eater and none of the restaurants appeal to me and I'm not a big fan of shopping. I'll use mine to pay tips or something.

Yip, think we agree though it would be best if they had it at the check in at the hotel...cant see why they cant..?...hopefully the queues at the airport arent too bad

I didn’t find it any hassle at all last year, would have been worth doing for $20 never mind $200.

We do the second bag drop so one of us went to get it whilst the others went to the carousel.
