Mobile Restrooms US27

Always used the turnpike from Miami to Orlando, thinking of the US27 this time, are there adequate restrooms on the way up ?

If you are using Highway 27 then there are no rest areas as such. You would have to stop off at a restaurant or a supermarket. I stopped off at a gas station on Hwy 27, once, not that far from Orlando and I wouldn't have let my dog go in there.

Wawa are the best gas stations for a stop. They are immaculate and have good food, coffee etc. A Publix would also be guaranteed to be fine.

Also ATMs at Wawa that don't charge a fee.

There are no special rest areas on the US27 as it is an ordinary road. It passes through various small towns, so there are DOZENS of gas stations, fast food, restaurants, supermarkets, even Walmarts, etc to stop at on the way. Far, far, far more choice than on the Turnpike.

Don't look for Wawa specifically, as GoogleMaps says there are none until past Lake Wales.

Most of us don't take our dogs into restrooms anyway - and visitors won't have a dog - so no problems!

Thank you all think I may just take our usual route, the wife is a nightmare and not knowing when the next restroom is, is grounds for divorce!...

As others have said there aren't really any rest areas per se but there are plenty of towns on the way up where you can stop off at fast food places if needed. You only really need to stop once as it isn't really that long of a drive.
